SlimSet Allergens: What Does The Label Declare?
SlimSet allergens: the label declares one inactive ingredient, hypromellose (vegetable capsule), and then prints “Contains Caffeine.” on its own line. Nothing on the panel is animal-derived. No sweetener, flavouring, colour or preservative is declared. Whether it was made near gluten, soy, dairy or nuts is not published, so ask before you buy if you react.

- The only inactive ingredient declared is hypromellose (vegetable capsule).
- The label prints “Contains Caffeine.” on its own line.
- Nothing in the product is animal-derived, so it suits a vegetarian diet.
- No sweetener, flavouring, colour or preservative is declared.
- No statement on gluten, soy, dairy, nuts or cross-contact is printed.
- SlimSet is not FDA approved, and no supplement is.
Anyone with a food allergy or a sensitive stomach will ask about SlimSet allergens before anything else. The label is short, which helps. This page reads it line by line, says what it declares, and is clear about what it does not say.
What does the label say about SlimSet allergens?
Beneath the Supplement Facts panel, the label prints one inactive line: hypromellose (vegetable capsule). Then, on a line of its own, it prints “Contains Caffeine.”
That is the whole list. Caffeine shows up twice: as a panel row and again as a warning-style line under the other ingredients. That puts the stimulant where a buyer scanning for warnings will look, which is the right place for it.
Notice what the label does not print. It prints no statement about gluten, soy, dairy, eggs, nuts, fish or shellfish. Whether the product was made in a facility that handles those foods is not published. This website cannot answer it, and neither can the label.
What is the SlimSet capsule shell made of?
Hypromellose is hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, a plant-based material. It is the usual vegetarian stand-in for gelatin, has no taste and protects a dry powder.
It also settles a question some buyers need answered first: nothing in this product is animal-derived. The shell is the only inactive ingredient declared, so there is no filler on the label. For the full panel, see our post on what is in SlimSet.

What is not on the SlimSet allergens list?
No sweetener, no flavouring, no colour and no preservative is declared. A capsule has less need of them than a gummy or a powder. The short list is one reason the arithmetic on the panel comes out cleanly.
The label also makes no non-GMO claim. A “GMO Free” mark sits on the seller’s icon strip, but it is missing from the label, so it gives you nothing to verify. And the label says only that SlimSet is manufactured in the USA with globally sourced ingredients. It names no factory.
None of this is a reason to worry. It is a reason to be precise: what is declared is declared, and everything else is unknown.
Which SlimSet ingredients could cause a reaction?
An allergy is not the only kind of reaction. The panel has five actives, each with its own row: green coffee bean extract, raspberry ketone, garcinia extract and green tea extract at 130 mg each, and caffeine anhydrous at 138 mg.
- Caffeine. The most likely cause of a noticed effect, such as jitteriness, a headache or lighter sleep. It is dose related.
- Green tea extract. A history of reacting to green tea extract is one of the situations the site flags, because susceptibility is not evenly distributed.
- Garcinia extract. Published case reports link high-dose extracts to liver injury. The amount here, about 65 mg of hydroxycitric acid, is far below those doses.
- Raspberry ketone. The label does not say where it comes from. Fruit extraction is uneconomic at this scale, so the site notes that commercial raspberry ketone is generally synthesised.
- Green coffee extract. Its caffeine content is not published.
If you have ever reacted to any plant extract on that list, say so to your doctor before you start.
How should you check SlimSet allergens before you buy?
Start with the label and your own history. Then ask. The order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 can match an order to a batch and can tell you what it holds on record. The website email, [email protected], reads corrections and questions about the pages, and cannot see orders.
When the bottle arrives, run the checks on the batch verification page. The other-ingredients line should read hypromellose (vegetable capsule), then “Contains Caffeine.” If the inactive list is longer than that, the bottle in your hand probably is not the one described here. If you react at any point, stop and speak to a clinician.
SlimSet is a dietary supplement. It is not FDA approved, and no dietary supplement is. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration, and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Treat this page as background reading, and take your own medical questions to your doctor or pharmacist.
Frequently asked questions
What allergens are in SlimSet?
The label declares none beyond “Contains Caffeine.” No gluten, soy, dairy or nut statement is printed, so cross-contact is not published.
Is SlimSet gluten free?
Not stated. The label makes no gluten-free claim, and this website does not publish one.
Is SlimSet vegetarian?
Yes in the sense the label supports: the shell is hypromellose, a plant cellulose, and nothing on the panel is animal-derived.
Does SlimSet contain caffeine?
Yes. 138 mg of caffeine anhydrous is printed, and the label says “Contains Caffeine.” on its own line.
Is the GMO Free mark true?
It is unsupported. The label makes no non-GMO claim and nothing is published to back the mark up.
Who can I ask about an allergy?
Your doctor first. The order desk on +1 (302) 200-3480 can tell you what it holds on record, but allergen cross-contact information is not published.
Our view
Our view is that the SlimSet label is short and clear on what it declares: a plant shell and a caffeine statement. It is silent on cross-contact and on the common food allergens, and a silent label is not a clean bill of health.
If you have a serious allergy, ask the order desk and your doctor before you buy, and keep in mind that the 60-day guarantee protects your money and not your health. See the ingredients page and the home page for the full panel.

Ask, then decide
If the declared list suits you, one bottle and the 60-day window is the sensible first step.
